Oh, How I Tease You, Internets

You didn't actually believe me when I said I would post pictures the next day, did you? Because I'm totally unrealiable in that capacity!

It's been nearly two weeks since I completed the baby sweater. And by completed I mean 'seamed' and 'finally got around to washing and blocking'. All that's left is the sewing on of the buttons.

Considering that the very first sewing project I ever undertook was a pair of shorts for my cabbage patch doll that came out as a beret, I am not looking forward to this ordeal.

I will eventually get you a chronology of photos, because I do have them, but here is a little something to tide you over:

Done seaming_not blocked
Seamed, but not blocked or washed. The colors are accurate, though. Doesn't it just look comfy?? Ignore the ugly, ugly blanket in the background--it was a gift from my uncle when he was living abroad.

More to come: a picture from my kids' knitting class, and the new Knit Picky mascot!

So I Lied

I meant to post the pictures I mentioned in my last blathering. Yesterday I forgot the camera at home. Today the camera made it all the way to the trunk of my car which is parked in the parking structure that I don't feel like walking to. So I'll post pictures later. Maybe this weekend; otherwise Tuesday.

I know that everyone is posting about the hurricane disaster, and I don't want to be redundant, but I join my thoughts with all of yours as we send the residents of New Orleans and Biloxi and all other affected areas the best of vibes/prayers/wishes.
