It was good to read your post Stephanie. Here in England I have felt similarly frustrated with my own government's collusion with Bush and his preoccupations. I was very happy to see the US election news (and also worried till the end that "someone" would pull a few dodgy votes out of the hat again. I hope the optimism across the pond keeps going through 2008... Daisy
Hey, I stumbled on your blog by complete accident, but completely appreciated your political rant. I'm always in the mood for a good political rant. I too understand the frustrations of a government's complete incompetance in terms of the development of legislation, in Canada we have unfortunately elected a Bush friendly government that seems to like many similar policies. It's frustrating to be incensed by every decision your government makes.
