I'm a Cheater
So Clapotis has taken a backseat to some baby knitting for a co-worker. His wife is due on the 22nd, so time is of the essence.
I'm sorry to say that his shower was yesterday, but due to a two-day migraine, he's getting his gift on Monday. It's nothing too special, just a couple of Sugar 'n Cream cotton bibs using the pattern from the Mason Dixon book. So easy. I will take pictures this weekend.
Finally, though, I get to blame someone else for my picture-less-ness: The Boy has the camera and keeps forgetting to bring it home. So I can't yet show you the other baby stuff I made, or take pictures of the new stuff.
What I can show you is what The Boy got me for my birthday yesterday:
As I am currently cameraless, that is the picture from the Knitpicks site, but saved to Flickr, so please don't think I'm a bandwidth thief! So last night I switched my current bib-in-progress over to the new Knitpicks needles. I would like to say I'm going to reserve judgment and all that, but day-um, they were awesome! As y'all know, I am the Slowest Knitter In All Of Creation (TM), and I just about flew through that second bib. I finished the whole darn thing last night!
The sharp needles were great with the cotton which, like many of its brethren, tends to be splitty. While I have long been loyal to Addis, I think I have found a new love. A much cheaper love. Smooth, smooth, smooth.
I .. the Knitpicks Options needles.

I love the knipicks needles also!
You can try adding that webring stuff on your footer instead of sidebar and that should work.
